How can I make recognition and reward programs a part of my work culture?

You can make formal and informal recognition and reward a usual and customary part of your every day work life by establishing programs such as Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year. Encourage staff to recognize positive behaviors in colleagues on a daily basis and make recognition a part of your staff meetings. Also, try to individualize recognition activities by recognizing your employee's life interests and priorities, and looking for a great reward action that matches those interests.
